The Commissioners' Guide to Understanding and Monitoring Agency Operations and Programs
This interactive workshop facilitates the commissioner's understanding of operational and program diversity among agencies and explores the "Agency as a business" that must be continuously monitored and assessed. Also examines board-staff boundaries and responsibilities related to establishing and implementing agency policy and managing and overseeing operations and programs. Participants are encouraged to take Commissioners' Fundamentals before taking this course. (0.65 CEUs)
