- Lamont Taylor was raised by a single mother who struggled to make ends meet. While he never lived in subsidized housing he experienced the hurdles many Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) residents face everyday. Taylor did not always make the best choices and found himself involved in activities that were harmful to the community. He realized as a young adult that he was not living a productive lifestyle and vowed to change his actions and give back to the community. It is because of those life experiences that he is so passionate about providing opportunities to the youth and young adults associated with CMHA’s housing programs.
- Taylor works as a human resources professional at Frisch’s Inc., where he manages employee relations. He has built a reputation as being a “change agent” and uses his professional experience to foster working relationships on organizational boards and with community stakeholders. For many years Taylor has been committed to serving public boards. He has been both a board member and the Chairperson for the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) and currently is a member of the board that oversees the Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services.
