Registration fee includes admission to all plenary and concurrent sessions; the Welcome Reception on Sunday; continental breakfasts on Monday and Tuesday; the Washington Reception on Tuesday; and the Town Hall Meeting with Candidates & Advocacy Awards Breakfast on Wednesday.

ADDED Value!  NAHRO 2011 Legislative Conference attendees receive the recorded sessions complimentary!  As an added benefit, conference attendees will receive up to 26 hours of audio synchronized to PowerPoint™ presentations and handouts via NAHRO's Live Learning Center. This virtual library will allow you to review the sessions you attended and attend the sessions you couldn’t because of scheduling conflicts!

Registration Payments

Registration fees must be paid in advance.  Registration forms received without payment will not be processed. Registrations may be paid by credit card or check.  NAHRO accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.  All registrations must be faxed or postmarked on or before March 18.  After that date you must register on-site.  Please do not mail and fax your registration and payment – only one copy is required.

Registration Confirmations

All registrations received prior to March 18 will be confirmed.  If you register online, your order confirmation will appear on the screen once your transaction is completed.  If you register by fax or mail, your confirmation will be e-mailed within two to three weeks.   Faxed or mailed registrations are processed in the order they are received.  Please bring a copy of your confirmation with you to the conference. 

Registration Changes/Substitutions

Prior to March 18, changes/substitutions must be submitted in writing and forward to NAHRO via email, or fax: (202) 289-4968. After March 18, changes must be made onsite at registration.

New Cancellation and Refund Policies for the 2011 Legislative Conference

The cancellation and refund policies have been revised to minimize potential conference and hotel room liability for which NAHRO commits well in advance of conference dates. Such expenses include, but are not limited to, hotel rooms, catering, and attendee supplies, i.e. badges, programs, etc. All conference cancellations must be in writing and submitted by mail or fax on or before March 4 to receive a refund less a $75 registration cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be granted after March 4, however access to program content (video of plenary sessions and complete set of handouts/presentations will still be permitted. No telephone or e-mail cancellations will be honored. No refunds will be granted for no-shows or functions you do not attend.

Cancellation and Refund Policies for the 2011 Professional Development Seminars

All seminar cancellations must be in writing on company letterhead and received by mail or fax.  No telephone or e-mail cancellations will be accepted. If your cancellation is received at least 20 business days prior to the start of the course, NAHRO will credit the full tuition amount toward another seminar/exam, which you must attend/take within one year of your cancellation to avoid forfeiting your tuition, or provide you with a full refund (at your option).  In the event that you cancel without at least 20 business days notice and do not wish to have your tuition credited towards another seminar/exam (under the terms specified above), a $75 cancellation fee will be retained from your tuition refund to cover administration costs.

NAHRO reserves the right to cancel or change the location of any seminar/exam.  In the rare event that NAHRO should find it necessary to cancel the seminar/exam, you will be notified up to 20 business days prior to the first day of the scheduled event.  NAHRO will not be liable for or assume any obligations to any persons who have not registered with NAHRO or otherwise received confirmation of their seminar/exam registration.   If you do not attend the seminar/exam, after having registered, and do not notify NAHRO as specified in the cancellation policy, no refunds or credits will be issued.  NAHRO is not responsible for any travel costs made prior to receipt of seminar/exam confirmation.

Reservations

Requests for reservations at the NAHRO group rate will be confirmed on a space availability basis until February 25.  Reservations may be secured online via Passkey's reservation system at https://resweb.passkey.com/go/NAHRO2011or by calling Passkey's reservation call center at (800) 266-9432 .  A credit card is required to reserve your room. All rooms require a $200 deposit which will be processed prior to your arrival date and credited against the balance at your confirmed hotel.  Please note the credit card may not be charged until after the February 25 hotel reservations deadline so please make sure that the card you provide for the deposit will not expire before the start of the conference.  The card provided will ONLY be charged the $200 deposit with the balance for your entire stay due and payable on-site.  Checks will not be accepted for deposits, but may be used on-site to satisfy balance.

Hotel reservations will be accepted through February 25 or until the room block is sold out.  If the NAHRO room block sells out, NAHRO will provide delegates with a list of nearby hotels but cannot guarantee room rate or availability. 

Stay within our Block!

NAHRO and the city that hosts our conference work very hard to determine the overall value our conference brings to the city, which impacts our ability to negotiate the best rates for hotel rooms.  Hotel rooms reserved outside of the NAHRO block cannot be captured and lessen the value of the NAHRO Conference.  By reserving your hotel room within the NAHRO room block, you are assisting our ability to negotiate lower rates at future conference hotels.
 

Hotel Changes/Cancellations

Prior to February 25, name changes, arrival/departure changes and/or cancellations should be submitted via Passkey's online reservation system -- https://resweb.passkey.com/go/NAHRO2011 or call center (800) 266-9432 .  After February 25, please contact the hotel directly at (202) 898-9000 or Marriott Central Reservations at (800) 228-9290 . Deposits will be refundable for cancellations received on or before February25.

Hotel Acknowledgment/Confirmations

You will receive an automated acknowledgment of your hotel reservation upon completion of your reservation.  Please do not call the hotel “just to be sure” until after February 25.
