How to Register for the Summer Conference
All registrations must be paid in advance! Download the PDF Registration Form to register. Visit Hotel Online Reservation Site or call 1-800-266-9432 to make your hotel reservations. See below for detailed registration information.

Here's What's New:

• Registrations must be paid in advance. Registrations received without payment will not be processed. Registrations may be paid by credit card or check. NAHRO accepts Visa, Master Card and American Express.
• A $175 per room hotel deposit is required and must be paid by credit card.
• Conference/seminar cancellations must be in writing and either mailed or faxed. No telephone or email cancellations will be accepted.
• Substitutions may be made at anytime but must be submitted in writing and either mailed or faxed. No telephone or email substitutions will be accepted.
• May 31 - last day for early bird rate.
• June 20 - last day for regular rate. Late/Onsite rate will apply starting June 21.
• June 25 - last day for a full refund.
• June 25 - last day to make hotel reservations at the NAHRO group rate.
• July 3 9 - last day for advance registration. After July 3 9 you must register onsite.
• July 11- last day to receive a 50% refund. After July 11 no refunds will be given.
• NAHRO is thinking green - conference bags will not be provided and handouts will be available online for download two weeks before the conference start date.

Registrations - Payment by Check or Credit Card is Required
Download the PDF Registration Form, print it out, complete it, and mail it along with your payment to NAHRO, PO Box 90487, Washington, DC 20090. Faxed registrations with credit card authorization also will be accepted. Fax your form to 202-289-4968.

All registrations must be faxed or postmarked on or before July 3 9. After that date you must register on-site. Please do not mail and fax your registration. Registrations received without payment will not be processed.

Watch for Your Conference/Seminar Confirmation
If you fax or mail in your registration your conference confirmation will be sent within two to three weeks. Faxed or mailed registrations are processed in the order they are received. Please bring a copy of your confirmation with you to the conference. It is proof of your registration.

Changes/Substituitons
Changes and/or substitutions to your registration will be accepted at any time, but must be sent to NAHRO in writing by mail or fax.

Cancellation and Refund Policies for the 2008 Summer Conference and Related Activities
The cancellation and refund policies have been revised to minimize potential conference and hotel room liability for which NAHRO commits well in advance of conference dates. Such expenses include, but are not limited to hotel rooms, catering, and attendee supplies, i.e. badges, programs, etc. The following policies apply to:

• Conference Registrations: All cancellations must be in writing on company letterhead and submitted by mail or fax. No telephone or e-mail cancellations will be honored. Cancellations postmarked or faxed on or before June 25 will receive a full refund. Cancellations postmarked or faxed by July 11 will receive 50% of the registration fee. No refunds or credits will be issued after July 11. No partial refunds will be given for functions that you do not attend.
  
  
• Pre- and Post-Seminars and Exams: All seminar/exam cancellations must be in writing on company letterhead and received by mail or fax. No telephone or e-mail cancellations will be accepted.
  
  If your cancellation is received at least 20 business days prior to the start of the course, NAHRO will credit the full tuition amount toward another seminar/exam, which you must attend/take within one year of your cancellation to avoid forfeiting your tuition, or provide you with a full refund (at your option). In the event that you cancel without at least 20 business days notice and do not wish to have your tuition credited towards another seminar/exam (under the terms specified above), a $75 cancellation fee will be retained from your tuition refund to cover administration costs.
  
  NAHRO reserves the right to cancel or change the location of any seminar/exam. In the rare event that NAHRO should find it necessary to cancel the seminar/exam, you will be notified up to 20 business days prior to the first day of the scheduled event. NAHRO will not be liable for or assume any obligations to any persons who have not registered with NAHRO or otherwise received confirmation of their seminar/exam registration. If you do not attend the seminar/exam, after having registered, and do not notify NAHRO as specified in the cancellation policy, no refunds or credits will be issued. NAHRO is not responsible for any travel costs made prior to receipt of seminar/exam confirmation.
  

Conference Registration Fees

• The Summer Conference registration fee includes your Meeting Packet and Credentials, all General and Concurrent sessions, the Thursday Welcome Reception, Continental Breakfast on Friday and Saturday, the Evening Event on Saturday, and the Closing Breakfast on Sunday morning. Conference bags will not be provided and handouts will be available online for download two weeks before the conference start date.
  
  
• Seminar registration fees include a desk resource manual, continental breakfast and break-time refreshments.
  
  
• Tickets will not be issued for meal function events except for the Saturday Evening Event. Your badge is your ticket to all other events. Tickets for guests will be available for sale at on-site registration beginning July 24. Guest Ticket Prices: Welcome Reception: $50, Saturday Evening Event: $75, Closing Session Breakfast: $30.

*Registrations received 30 calendar days prior to the seminar date.
**Registrations received less than five business days before the seminar date.

Housing Information
In partnership with Passkey, NAHRO is committed to providing high quality, one-stop shopping for hotel accommodations. All reservations must be made using a credit card through either the Hotel Online Reservation Site or by calling 1-800-266-9432. A credit card is required to reserve your room. All rooms require a $175 deposit which will be processed prior to your arrival and credited against the balance at your confirmed hotel. Hotel reservations will be accepted through June 25 or until the room block is sold out. Please note the credit card may not be charged until NAHRO releases its room block in late June, so please make sure that the card you provide for the deposit will not expire before the start of the Conference. The card provided will ONLY be charged the $175 deposit with the balance for your entire stay due and payable on-site. Checks will not be accepted for deposits, but may be used on-site to satisfy balance.

Hotel Changes/Cancellations
Name changes, arrival/departure changes and or cancellations may be submitted via the passkey reservations system until June 25, 2008. Deposits will be refundable for cancellations received on or before June 25. Deposits will be forfeited for cancellations and/or confirmed hotel assignment changes made after June 25. Please note changes to your confirmed hotel assignment made prior to June 25 will incur no penalty. Changes to your confirmed hotel assignment made after June 25 will result in a forfeit of your hotel deposit.

Hotel Acknowledgment/Confirmations
You will receive an acknowledgment of your hotel reservation from the online Passkey Reservation System upon completion of your reservation. Rest assured if you have received a confirmation number from the reservation system the hotel will honor your booking. All reservations will be downloaded from the Passkey Reservations System to the hotel on June 25, 2008 and deposits will be charged at that time. Please allow 72 hours for this process before contacting hotel to make any changes.

Travel Information
The Nashville Renaissance Hotel and Nashville Convention Center are located approximately 15 minutes from Nashville's Airport (airport code: BNA), which is serviced by most major airlines including American, Delta, Frontier, Northwest, Southwest, United Express, and US Airways. The Gray Line Airport Express runs shuttle service to the downtown hotels from the airport for approx. $12 one way. Taxi fares from the airport to downtown are approx. $22. An airport customer service stand is located curbside on the ground level to help with transportation needs.
