HQS Refresher

This e-learning will provide a refresher course on how to conduct a Housing Quality Inspections. Topics will include:

  • Updates on additional requirements for HQS- electrical changes, LBP requirements
  • Other changes that have occurred as a result of OIG recommendations or QC Inspections
  • Potential strategies to reduce inspection cost
  • Rent Reasonableness Changes that can be linked to the Inspectors Field Observations
  • Remembering the Basics/ Updated Photos of Conditions that an Inspector may be observing and How to Rate the Condition

Learning is interactive with exercises, discussion, and addressing participant’s specific questions.  A must for those with five or more years of experience thinking of obtaining their Certified Specialist of Inspection Housing Quality Standards (CSI-HQS).   (.5 CEUs)
