Be informed and have your views represented.

For more than 60 years the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials has fought to secure needed housing and community development programs and has represented the concerns of its members effectively. Today, NAHRO continues to champion the needs of all people—to be adequately housed and for their right to live in decent neighborhoods in thriving cities and towns.

Your NAHRO membership unites you with more than 20,000 members—the largest and most effective network of housing and community development professionals.

  • Stay up-to-date with the twice-monthly NAHRO Monitor, the bi-monthly Journal of Housing and Community Development, and access to the NAHRO web site. (Change of address for JOHCD or NAHRO Monitor mailings should be directed to Lynetta Tolliver at ltolliver@nahro.org)
  • Enhance skills through our many professional training programs offered throughout the country.
  • Broaden your knowledge at NAHRO's three major national conferences, which feature more than 100 sessions.
  • Take advantage of our many electronic information lists. There are Direct News lists for Washington Updates; Public Housing; Section 8; Community Development; and Small Agencies. Two-way list serves exist in the same categories.
  • Save money with discounts on conference and training registrations, publication purchases, and more.

NAHRO's accomplishments and services clearly demonstrate our effectiveness in helping to shape the future of America's housing and development policies. And, our visibility as a leading advocate of decent, affordable housing and communities has never been greater.
