How can I register for the conference?

What are the registration fees?

What does the registration fee include?
Summer Conference registration includes admission to all plenary and concurrent sessions; continental breakfasts on Sunday and Monday; the Networking Reception on Sunday; and the Evening Event on Monday. As an added value, registered attendees receive up to 40 hours of audio synchronized to PowerPoint presentations and handouts via NAHRO's Live Learning Center.
 
Can I purchase guest tickets to networking events in advance?
Tickets may be purchased onsite or in advance by contacting us via the Conference Hotline at (800) 842-6225 or via e-mail at  conferenceregistration@nahro.org.
 
I didn’t get a receipt/acknowledgement?
If you registered online and have not received your acknowledgement within one week of submitting, please contact us at conferenceregistration@nahro.org. If you mailed your registration and have not received your acknowledgment within two weeks of mailing, p
lease contact us at conferenceregistration@nahro.org.
 
How can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Changes/substitutions are permitted any time and should be submitted in writing via e-mail at conferenceregistration@nahro.org or fax at (202) 289-4968 prior to September 27. After September 27, changes/substitutions must be made onsite.
 
My name is spelled wrong on my acknowledgement?
Please make corrections on the acknowledgement letter and fax revisions to Conference Registration at (202) 289-4968.
 
I need to submit a purchase order for my registration, can I still register?
Registration fees must be paid in advance - acceptable forms of payment include check, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
 
My registration requires a W9 form before I can process my purchase order, how can I get one?
Please send all W9 requests to conferenceregistration@nahro.org or contact us via the Conference Hotline via (800) 842-6225.
 
What is the cancellation policy?

When is the last day I can register for the conference?
Advance registration closes on September 27. After September 27, you may register onsite.

How can I become a speaker for the conference? 
Through our Call for Presentations (CFP), industry professionals may submit either a proposal for a session they wish to deliver or an idea for a session they wish to attend. A session proposal requires the submitter to be responsible for content, speakers and delivery. A session idea is a topic or subject that the submitter would find value in attending but would like NAHRO to invest in bringing to life. The 2012 Call for Presentations was open January 1 through February 3, 2012 and is now closed. Information regarding the 2013 CFP will be available in November. For additional information or to be added to our CFP invitation list, please e-mail us at conferenceprogramming@nahro.org.
 
How can I register for a NPDS seminar or exam being held in conjunction with the conference?

What is a plenary session?
A plenary session is a general assembly of conference participants that often includes a featured speaker.

How do I make hotel reservations?
Conference registration is required prior to making a reservation in the NAHRO room block. Reservations may only be secured online via the hyperlink and access code included in your conference registration confirmation. A credit card is required to reserve your room. All rooms require a $250 deposit which will be processed prior to your arrival date and credited against the balance at your confirmed hotel.

I need to change/cancel my hotel reservation. What do I need to do?
Name changes, arrival/departure changes, and/or cancellations may be submitted via the online reservation system until October 4. Please note that deposits will be refundable for cancellations received on or before October 4. Deposits will be forfeited for cancellations made after October 4.
 
What is the closest airport?
The closest airport is the Nashville International Airport (BNA).
 
Can I use a different credit card to pay the balance at the hotel?
The credit card provided for your hotel deposit will ONLY be charged the $250 deposit prior to your arrival. The balance for your entire stay will be due and payable upon check-in. Checks and credit cards may be used onsite to satisfy the balance.
 
If the hotel block is full will you add another hotel?
If the NAHRO room block sells out, NAHRO will provide delegates with a list of nearby hotels but cannot guarantee room rate or availability.
