Housing Experts Convene for Tri-Country Conference Sept. 25-28 Contact: Liz Hennessy, 202-289-3500 ext. 280 or lhennessy@nahro.org News Advisory: Affordable housing experts from the United States, Canada and Great Britain will meet in Chicago Sept. 25-28 to discuss affordable housing initiatives. The biennial Tri-Country Conference will feature sessions on immigration, child poverty, housing and health care, and funding for housing programs as delegates share best practices from their home communities. Sponsored by the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials in the United States, the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association and Great Britain's Chartered Institute of Housing, the conference seeks to promote dialogue among international housing officials and offers delegates an opportunity to explore common and differing approaches to housing issues. Chicago Housing Commissioner Jack Markowski will speak at lunch on Monday, Sept. 27.
