April 22 Online Briefing Session

ABCs of a PIC-Form 50058 High Reporting Rate
1:30 PM - 3:00 (Eastern Daylight Savings Time)
This special e-Briefing on PIC-50058 Reporting Rate is designed to provide the latest information and "how-to" guidance for PHAs of all sizes operating both the Public Housing and Voucher programs to avoid HUD quarterly PIC-Form 50058 reporting rate sanctions described in HUD Notices PIH 2008-11 for public housing and PIH 2007-29 for vouchers. This distance learning is for Executive Directors, public housing and voucher program administrators and their staffs handling the PIC-Form 50058 function.
The objectives of the presentation are: 1.) to understand how to handle problems that impede a PHA from obtaining and maintaining the required 95% reporting rate, including tenant identification management and fatal error resolution; 2.) to address unique factors that prevent acceptable PHA reporting rates, specifically the building and unit issue for public housing and portability for vouchers; 3) to learn about PIC improvements to be issued in the May and November releases; and 4) to hear about best practices from both public housing and voucher perspective on how a PHA obtains/maintains a 95% reporting rate.
The presenters will be Matthew Steen, National IMS-PIC Operational Manager; Anthony Senerchia, IT Manager, Yonkers Municipal Housing Authority, and Curt Kline, Business System Analyst, St. Paul Housing Authority. Pat Arnaudo, Director of Special Projects, NAHRO Professional Development, is the moderator.
