NAHRO Offers FREE Training
NAHRO's Professional Development Department offers a wide-range of trainings that have set the standard within the affordable housing industry. In addition to our offerings for Management, Residents, Commissioners, Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher practitioners, our catalog also includes Seminars for Community Development Practitioners who are also HOME grant recipients. The HOME Investment Partnership Program provides formula grants to states and localities for use in their communities. Often, HOME projects and activities are carried out in partnership with local nonprofit groups; they can encompass building, purchase, and rehabilitation of affordable housing for both rent and homeownership.
NAHRO, as a recipient of HOME Community Development Technical Assistance funds, can provide FREE training to HOME grantees. Our upcoming calendar of HOME trainings is as follows:
