NAHRO hosts HOME Program Trainings

HUD's Office of Affordable Housing Programs is pleased to invite you to upcoming HOME technical assistance trainings hosted by the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO).  

NAHRO, as a recipient of HOME Community Development Technical Assistance funds, can provide complimentary training to HOME grantees at no cost.  Our upcoming calendar of HOME trainings is as follows:

Adapting Your HOME Homebuyer Program to Current Market Conditions

  • New Orleans, LA - June 29, 2009
  • Des Moines, IA  - July 13, 2009
  • Portland, OR  - July 17, 2009
    • Provides strategies to tackle the challenges of managing your HOME homebuyer program in the current foreclosure crisis
    • Monte Franke - Trainer

Basic HOME and CDBG: An Overview of Program Requirements

  •  New Orleans - June 30-July 1
    • A basic, foundation seminar appropriate for any level of staff; suitable for PJ, CHDO or other HOME-eligible nonprofit
    • Dionne Roberts - Trainer
