will have included in their responsibilities, preparing the
budgets for their properties, and for administering their project
activities from their approved budgets. This two-session course,
designed for front-line property managers, (1) defines the basics
of budgets and budgeting, (2) explains the accountable front-line
property manager's role in budget formulation and administration,
(3) reviews the common sources of income and typical categories
of expenditures, (4) discusses possible sources of information
for compiling initial budgets and (5) describes further topics
needed to become fully proficient in budgeting and financial
analysis. The class includes time for questions and answers. (0.4
