NAHRO is pleased to announce a limited number of seminar scholarships expressly for Small Agencies. Each scholarship will cover the tuition of one national NAHRO seminar registration in 2010.
To qualify, your agency must:
- Be a current member of National NAHRO.
- Have 250 total units or less of Housing/Section 8 vouchers.
Scholarship applications for the first application period of 2010 will be sent to the committee for review and selection. Scholarship awards are anticipated to be final by the beginning to middle of April. Award winners will be notified by email and first-class mail approximately seven business days after the selections have been finalized.
NAHRO seminars are held throughout the continental United States. Please see the NAHRO Seminar Calendar for a complete list of seminar dates and locations.
It is not necessary to know what location or date of a specific seminar. NAHRO allows agencies using the John L. Carroll Memorial Scholarship flexibility in using their scholarship for a specific NAHRO Seminar that is close to their location.
All Applications must be received by 5:00 PM EST, March 12, 2010 for this application period.
The second application period of the John L. Carroll Scholarship will become available in the late Spring with a deadline in the beginning of July.
