HUD's Transition Assistance Policy for Lead-Based
Paint

the implementation of the new lead-based paint regulations. The policy
has three components:
- Assistance for Jurisdictions with Inadequate Capacity,
- Phase in Period for Post-1960 Properties Receiving Tenant-Based
Assistance, and
- Phase in Period for Elderly-Occupied Properties Receiving Federal
Rehabilitation Assistance Greater than $25,000.
Find out about the new policy, and how it affects your Section 8 and
