Reaching Full Voucher Lease-Up

HUD's new renewal funding system. Panelists will help you understand
PIH Notice 2003-23, implementing the FY 2003 renewal funding formula.
Learn how HUD's Financial Management Center (FMC) evaluates the data
LHAs provide them with each quarter in order to help you anticipate
your agency's annual budget authority. Find out the best way to manage
your agency's budget authority while you engage in "managed"
over-leasing on a temporarily monthly basis in order to achieve maximum
leasing (not to exceed the total authorized unit months per LHA fiscal
year). Panelists will walk through the administrative processes and
documentation needed to draw on the first and second halves of your
agency's one-month project reserve as well as HUD's central reserve.
Drawing on each program reserve will help your agency fund increased
per unit costs or support additional units under lease (if applicable)
up to your total authorized unit months.
