November 5  On-Line e-Briefing Session: Leadership and Strategic Planning: Make it "PAY OFF"

1:30 PM – 3:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Savings Time)

This special e-Briefing provides “how to” guidance for commissioners, executives and top staff of all sized Public Housing Agencies (PHAs )operating all types of programs – public housing, vouchers, etc..

In this 90 minute e-Briefing will:

• “Demystify” strategic planning by sharing  common-sense principles
• Explain  how strategic planning can “payoff” in achieving your vision
• Showcase PHA leaders who have used strategic planning to achieve dramatic results:.
• Provide resources to help PHAs to understand more about leadership and strategic planning;

The presenters will be: Ken Miller, PHA Commissioner and NAHRO Instructor; Andrew Lofton, Deputy Executive Director, Seattle Housing Authority; Rick Gentry, newly appointed Executive Director, San Diego Housing Commission; Carl S. Ritchie Jr., PHA Commissioner, and Vice President for Governmental Affairs, TXU Energy; and Ron Oldham, NAHRO Instructor and SRO of the NW Region.   Pat Arnaudo, Director of Special Projects, NAHRO Professional Development, will be moderator.
