September 23  On-Line e-Briefing Session: Evaluating the Performance of Your Portfolio

1:30 PM – 3:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Savings Time)

If your public housing agency comprises more than one property, you will not want to miss this e-Briefing!

This live interactive broadcast on portfolio assessment is an “encore performance” of a highly-rated session at NAHRO’s summer conference in Nashville.

It is designed to provide the latest “how-to” guidance for PHA Commissioners as well as Public Housing and Voucher staffs.

Panelists will be:

  • David Baldwin, Executive Director of the Bristol, Virginia, Redevelopment and Housing Authority, who is in the midst of portfolio assessment.  Mr. Baldwin will share his motivation and thinking for embarking on the portfolio assessment process.
  • Dennis Mobley, NAHRO Faculty and President of Housing-SolutionsSM. . Mr.  Mobley will offer a number of tools and resources available exclusively to PHAs seeking to reposition their assets and reinvent their organizations.
  • Margarita Maisonet, Managing Director of the Federal Practice Group, LLC. Ms. Maisonet will discuss insights from the perspective of someone who focuses primarily on the performance of privately owned, HUD-assisted properties and portfolios, commenting specifically on lessons relevant to the public housing community.

Jennifer Lavorel, NAHRO’s Senior Policy Advisor will guide the discussion and provide supplemental comments.  Pat Arnaudo, Director of Special Projects for Professional Development, will be the responsible NAHRO official.

To attend the class, you will need access to a computer with a high speed Internet connection and a telephone with a standard phone line (preferably with speaker function/capacity).
2. Registrants must have and provide an e-mail address to receive instructions for accessing the online class.
3. Registration cancellation or substitution notices should be sent to RHart@NAHRO.org.

To guarantee availability, it is recommended that you register at least 10 days prior to the e-Briefing.
