April 21 , 2009 On-Line e-Briefing Session: Tips for Avoiding PIC Reporting Sanctions in Public Housing and Voucher Programs

This special e-Briefing provides the latest information and professional “how to” guidance for PHAs of all sizes operating the Public Housing and voucher programs to obtain a high PIC-50058 reporting rate thereby avoiding HUD sanctions. This distance learning is geared to PHA Executive Directors (CEOs) and public housing and voucher directors as well as occupancy and IT staffs.
The key objectives of this 90 minute e-Briefing are:
- Highlight the key components of the HUD’s PIC-50058 reporting and sanction policy, including updates on security provisions and use of EIV.
- Provide promising practices and tips from PHAs to assure accurate and high reporting thereby avoiding HUD sanctions.
The presenters will be:
- Matthew Steen, IMS-PIC Operations Manager, Real Estate Assessment Center.
- Steve Crouse, mid-Market Account Manager, Emphasys Software and former IT officer, Dauphin County Housing Authority, and
- Tony Caldwell, Chief Administrative and Operations Officer, Housing Authority of the County of Monterey.
- Pat Arnaudo, Director of Special Projects at NAHRO, will be the moderator.
