Public Housing Eligibility, Income and Rent Calculation with Proficiency Test
Curriculum for this training is comprehensive and provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate eligibility and income and calculate rents accurately. The training will cover the issues of: factors of eligibility, denial of assistance, screening, determination of unit size, non-discrimination/equal opportunity, annual income, income from assets, income exclusions, adjusted income, verification of factors affecting eligibility and rent, TTP, rents, prorated assistance, minimum rent, imputed welfare income, and earned income disallowance. Includes a proficiency exam on the last day.
