Implementing and Managing a Successful Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Homeownership

This seminar, designed for Housing Authorities operating Housing Choice Voucher
(HCV) Homeownership programs, their HCV Homeownership program partners and support
staff, provides targeted, hands-on training. The course presents an overview
of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, reviews regulatory requirements,
and discusses key topics related to implementing and managing a successful HCV
Homeownership program, including the development process; construction of the
HCV Homeownership program administrative plan; HAP calculations; partnership
issues and barriers; the mortgage lending process; and quality assurance. The
course, delivered in cooperation with D L Morgan & Associates, also includes
examples of best practices.
Who Should Attend
Housing Authority staff, lenders, Community Based Organizations, public officials,
and home ownership counseling agencies.
