Additional Exam/Certification Information

Authorization Form
NAHRO sends certification exam results only to the individual participant unless authorized by that participant to also send the results to the employer agency. Individual registrants must complete and sign the authorization section of the registration form in order to be registered for the exam. Each authorization requires a separate registration form.

Receiving Your Certification
Candidates who have achieved a passing score on the NAHRO PHM or SPHM Certification Examinations will be certified as either a Public Housing Manager or a Senior Professional Housing Manager respectively. After the designated exam has been scored and all registration fees are paid, a certificate and certification pin for the appropriate designation will be mailed within three weeks. No scores or acknowledgment of pass/fail status will be given over the telephone under any circumstances.

Exam Retakes

Candidates who may be unsuccessful with the PHM exam may retake it as many times as necessary.
