Admissions and Occupancy

The admissions and occupancy requirements of public housing and section 8 assisted housing were changed as a result of the enactment of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. Issues with respect to admissions and occupancy include the following:

  • Choice of rent
  • Community service and self sufficiency
  • Determination of income and rent
  • Admission preferences
