NAHRO’s Professional Development System (NPDS) introduces new courses that qualify toward NAHRO’s Operations Management Certification. Along with High Performing Property and Program Management, Property Management Essentials meets one of the criteria for this certification.
NAHRO’s Property Management Essentials course provides participants, not only with knowledge and methods, but with interactive application of what is presented. Case studies, exercises, facilitated analysis discussion, visuals and application of critical thinking are used. The program clearly identifies all of the critical issues and concerns property management personnel must address to maintain financial and market viability of the property managed. (1.95 CEUs)
Who Should Attend
Property Management Essentials is appropriate for Public/Assisted Housing Property Managers, Property-Site Managers, Supportive Property-site Staff, Directors of Property Operations, Agency Senior Staff and Executives, and for those viewing the Assisted Housing Industry as a career and aspire to these positions in an organization.
Program’s Purpose
To understand and learn specific knowledge and tasks required for the efficient and effective Property (Asset Management Property Grouping) Management, and to implement necessary techniques, metrics and methods for a property’s financial and market viability.
Schedule and Agenda
Registration begins at 8:00 am. on the first day
Seminar runs daily from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Proficiency Test will be administered the afternoon of the third day
