The Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act of 2012 (Public Law 112-55) authorized the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) to test the conversion of Public Housing, Moderate Rehabilitation (Mod Rehab), Rent Supplement (Rent Supp), and Rental Assistance Payment (RAP) properties to assistance under Section 8 Project-Based Vouchers (PBV) or Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA).
