MOUNTAIN PLAINS REGIONAL COUNCIL

MOUNTAIN PLAINS NAHRO SCHOLARSHIPS

2 - $750 Scholarships in the Mountain Plains Region
2 - $750 Scholarships in the State of Colorado

  • Must be a resident or a Section 8 existing participant in a community where the local agency does not have a scholarship program
  • Must show evidence that he/she has graduated from high school or has a GED
  • Must have a GPA of 2.5 or better
  • Must be entering an accredited college or university as a full-time student
  • Reference: Two from high school instructors or college professors, one from a housing employee or commissioner, and one from an FSS coordinator of community leader
  • Documentation that he/she has graduated from high school or has an official transcript of any college courses taken
  • Evidence of application or admission to an accredited college or university
  • A written statement of no more than one page indicating why the scholarship is needed or desired

CO - LITTLETON HOUSING AUTHORITY

The Authority wanted to brighten the future of children living in subsidized housing, improve their self-esteem, and encourage their excellence. The scholarship program was established to assist graduating seniors who planned on furthering their education.
