DID YOU VOLUNTEER TO SERVE NAHRO?
NAHRO wishes to thank Associates who volunteered to serve on a chapter, regional, and/or national committee or task force for the next biennium (2011-2013). Staff has compiled a list of volunteers, which has been sent to the incoming national president and incoming regional presidents for their use as they make appointments. The incoming president and regional presidents will finalize their appointments by the end of August. Appointees will receive a letter of invitation to serve. If you do not receive a letter of invitation, it is due to the limited number of spaces on each committee and task force, and you will be considered to fill vacancies when they become available. NAHRO STILL WANTS YOU! You can make a difference!

Share your experience and expertise with your colleagues by serving on a 2011-2013 committee or task force at the national, regional, or chapter level. There are several committees and task forces at all levels and each has a specific charge. Examples of committee responsibilities include:
 

  •     developing program policy positions,
  •     shaping and setting requirements for professional development offerings,
  •     articulating regional/chapter positions on issues,
  •     enhancing communication between the local level and national NAHRO, and
  •     serving as an ambassador and advocate for NAHRO at all levels.

Appointment deadline for the 2011-2013 NAHRO President, Regional Presidents or Chapter Presidents, was April 13. Any responses received after April 13 will be considered to fill vacancies when they become available. Final decision regarding appointments to serve on national committees will be made by mid-August. If you were not selected for appointment, you will be notified via email by the end of August.

If you are interested in more than one committee, prioritize by noting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
