We’re so glad you’re joining us for NAHRO’s 2022 Online Summer Symposium and Virtual Hill Day! You can participate in the Symposium via laptop/desktop (web app) and/or mobile app.
To join the event app from your laptop or desktop computer:
- Follow this link: Web app (We recommend using the Google Chrome browser for the best experience.)
- Enter the email address you used to register for the event. If you entered an email, create a password and click Sign Up. Important: you must use the email address you provided for Symposium registration.
- Fill in your networking profile and click Continue. Your profile information will help you connect with other people during the event.
- You’re in!
To access the Mobile App:
If you’ve already downloaded and logged into the mobile NAHRO events app:
- Open the NAHRO events app.
- Use the app’s event search to find NAHRO’s 2022 Online Summer Symposium.
- Click on the event banner
- Tap JOIN.
If you’ve never used the app before, please use these instructions to download and join the Event App from your mobile device:
- Click on this link
- Select the correct app download button for your device and download the app.
- Open the app and enter the email address you used to register for the Symposium.
- If you entered an email, create a password and click Sign Up.
- Fill in your networking profile and click Continue. Your profile information will help you connect with other people during the event!
- Now, browse for NAHRO’s 2022 Online Summer Symposium or use the search bar to find it. Once you’ve found it, tap on it.
- You’re in!
Once you have joined the event app, we encourage you to do a few things before the Symposium begins.
First, build your attendee profile by adding a picture, your title and job details, and your social media accounts. Your profile is like your digital business card.
Second, download Zoom. If you don’t already have it, we recommend that you download Zoom or get the latest update on whatever device you choose to use for the Symposium. Also, using internet browser Chrome (for the desktop web app) is strongly encouraged for the best viewing experience.
And third, explore the Symposium event app!
- Network with industry peers! Click on the ATTENDEES feature to see who is attending. Click the Add icon next to the attendee name. Adding a person as a connection allows you to message with them, send them meeting requests, see their contact information, and more! Keep in mind, when someone hasn’t joined the app yet, they will have a Contact icon instead of an Add icon. Contact them to remind them to join the app. They will receive the message in an email, and be prompted to join.
- Check out the AGENDA feature. Click on each agenda item and scroll thru for session details. On the day of the event, there will be a “Join Live Stream” button for each agenda item that you can click to “enter” the session. Sessions will be run thru Zoom, and will open up externally in another window.
- Check out the VIRTUAL HILL DAY feature for important information as you prepare for your August 3 Hill Day meetings.

Be sure to enable app notifications on your device so you receive event announcements.
Sessions will be recorded and recordings will be available on the event app in the SESSION RECORDINGS feature for a limited time following the Symposium.
