A Model Leveraging Partnerships for Housing Homeless for Long-Term Stability

Monday, September 29: 1:45pm – 3:00pm

High housing demand and eroding affordability continue to exacerbate the problem of persistent homelessness within Kent County with significant impact on the most vulnerable in our community. Several agencies, led by the Grand Rapids Area Coalition to End Homelessness, launched the 100 housed in 100 days Kent County initiative, an ongoing public-private partnership that included community leaders, service providers, philanthropic organizations, businesses and community volunteers—a partnership that has the goal of helping the community’s most at-risk citizens find permanent, sustainable housing solutions, greater housing stability and services that will improve their quality of life.
