Collaboration for Youth Development and Food Access in Choice Neighborhoods

Sunday, September 28: 3:30pm – 4:45pm

Discover how the Edison-Eastlake Housing Supportive Services Program leverages strong community partnerships to support youth development and address food insecurity through innovative, holistic programming. This session will highlight two successful models: youth services that include after-school initiatives that keep youth engaged in safe, skill-building activities along with a Family Resource Center for youth ages 0- 5; and a monthly mobile pantry that integrates food access with health, employment, and educational services. Through interactive case studies, and action planning, attendees will explore how to replicate and adapt these collaborative approaches in their own communities to foster resilience, empowerment, and long-term well-being.
