Hotel Information

All symposium events will take place at the Grand Hyatt Washington, located at 1000 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. The Grand Hyatt is centrally located in the downtown City Center neighborhood of Washington, D.C., just blocks from the National Mall and the White House.

NAHRO has reserved a block of rooms at the Grand Hyatt for symposium attendees.

NAHRO SYMPOSIUM ROOM RATE
The symposium room rate for NAHRO attendees is $219/night plus 15.95% tax. To access the special rate, attendees must make reservations thru the weblink provided in symposium registration confirmation. No phone reservations will be accepted.

HOTEL RESERVATION POLICY
Register first…then reserve your room! Symposium registration is required prior to making a reservation in the NAHRO room block. Once your registration is confirmed, your registration confirmation will contain a weblink through which to reserve your hotel accommodations on-line in the NAHRO room block.  **Any reservation in the NAHRO room block without a corresponding symposium registration will be canceled without notice.** 

Requests for reservations at the NAHRO group rate will be accepted for registered symposium attendees on a space available basis through June 21 or until the NAHRO room block is sold out, whichever comes first.  Rooms within the NAHRO room block are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

REQUIRED RESERVATION DEPOSIT
A credit card is required to make a reservation. All rooms require a first night’s deposit plus tax that will be charged to the credit card prior to your arrival date and credited against the room balance.  Checks will not be accepted for deposits.  Room deposits are non-refundable for cancellations occurring after June 21.   

RESERVATION CONFIRMATIONS
You will receive an automated confirmation of your hotel reservation upon completion of your reservation.

RESERVATION CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS
Name changes, arrival/departure changes and/or cancellations should be submitted via the online reservation system on or before June 21.   After June 21, please contact the hotel directly.  Deposits will be refundable for cancellations received on or before June 21.

PAYMENT OF ROOM CHARGES ON-SITE
Once on-site, guest room balances can be paid by cash or credit card.  Checks are not accepted. 

INCIDENTAL HOLD/DEPOSIT
Please note the hotel requires a $50 incidental hold/deposit at the time of check-in payable by cash or credit card.  Checks are not accepted.

EARLY DEPARTURE FEE
In the event you check out of the hotel prior to your reserved checkout date, the hotel will add an early departure fee in the amount equal to one night room and tax.
