This session will cover active workplace violence preparedness. The presenter, owner of School Com 608 LLC, a safety, security and staff training consultant company, has taken lessons learned from past critical violent incidents, and works with various schools, medical office groups and small manufacturing companies on active violence preparedness. Attendees will learn that preparedness is accomplished by understanding the following: recognition, mitigation, and response to workplace violence.
