A Note on Recent NAHRO Website Security and Access Concerns
June 12, 2025 — Beginning on Friday, June 6, NAHRO received a handful of reports from members who are unable to access our website www.nahro.org and/or our Learning Portal learn.nahro.org. Reports vary, but some have shared that their organization’s security protocols flagged NAHRO’s websites as malicious and/or phishing based on information from third-party party security vendors. This resulted in some members being unable to access NAHRO’s websites from their work computers.
We want to assure you that the NAHRO website, including the Learning Portal, is secure. The NAHRO team and our website partners have been working tirelessly to determine the source of these misleading flags and restore website access to all our members.
To further strengthen NAHRO’s website security, our team has reviewed all security settings and made additional updates to meet strict security protocols. However, it may take a few days for these updates to be acknowledged by the security vendors, as they only rescan sites periodically.
If you are unable to access the NAHRO website, please check the following:
- Verify the URL you are using begins with https:// and not simply http.
- Contact your organization’s IT department to have nahro.org added to your organization’s “safe sites” list.
If you still cannot access the website, please email the following, based on your concerns:
- Unable to access news, resources, or general information: comms@nahro.org
- Unable to access NAHRO Professional Development trainings: professionaldevelopment@nahro.org
- Unable to log into your NAHRO account to manage your membership or other general access issues: memberservices@nahro.org
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this unusual situation.
