October is Housing America Month!
Though it’s important to celebrate the work of housers every day, we come together in the fall to spotlight the success stories of our housing, our services, and our residents.
We hope your agency is ready to participate in Housing America Month in a big way – whether in-person or virtually!
Here are just a few ways to show your Houser spirit this October during Housing America Month.
- Watch out for the winners of our 2023 What Home Means to Me poster calendar contest!
- Host an event! Ideas include ribbon-cuttings, groundbreaking ceremonies, mural-paintings, community gatherings, and more! Find ideas and examples of past events at our Housing America Month webpage.
- Spread the word! Grab images and sample copy from our media kit to share with your colleagues and friends on social media or via email.
