Today Is Global Ethics Day!

Global Ethics Day, which takes place this year on Wednesday, Oct. 20, is an occasion to help raise awareness regarding the importance of ethics for individuals and organizations alike. 

“NAHRO is proud to join in the celebration of Global Ethics Day,” said NAHRO President Patricia Wells. “Ethics is a vital part of professional conduct – especially for NAHRO members, who are entrusted with both public funds and the care of seniors, children, veterans and families in their communities. NAHRO requires all members to adhere to its Code of Professional Conduct, and has instituted ethics requirements for certification. Thank you to the Board of Ethics and Credentialling Trustees, especially immediate past Chair Mark Thiele and immediate past Vice Chair George Guy for their leadership.” 

NAHRO is committed to upholding ethical standards through initiatives such as the NAHRO Code of Professional Conduct, and will update the Code to ensure that it is up-to-date and pertinent.
