The purpose of this simulation is to support participants in comprehending the significance and repercussions of racial disparities perpetuated by various federally sanctioned policies. Participants will gain insight into how these policies perpetuate systemic inequalities across various domains such as property ownership, education, wealth accumulation, economic mobility, among others, and exacerbate poverty within communities of color. Additionally, the simulation will underscore the importance of addressing race, utilizing reliable data sources, and elevating the nexus between poverty alleviation and policy enhancement.
