Strategic Planning

This training will have high relevance to commissioners and executive staff who are desiring to significantly improve their visioning, goals-setting, policy making and strategic planning.  While this session will include some basic fundamentals of strategic planning, much of the emphasis will be placed on advanced concepts of strategic planning, including the inclusion of community outcomes, the engagement of stakeholders, a focus on asset-based strategic planning, and a strong emphasis on strategic planning implementation.  Participants will be encouraged to bring their agency strategic plan, or a plan from another housing agency, so that these plans can be shared and critiqued.
