Description
This interactive and engaging workshop will help participants understand the three dimensions of leadership competency, identify the qualities that distinguish good and great leaders and begin to develop a personal vision for leadership. Participants will leave with a first draft of their leadership vision. This workshop blends active learning with participant reflection, small group discussion and large group discussion. It invites participants to be actively engaged in the learning.
Objectives
After completing this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify the three dimensions of leadership.
- Understand the top ten characteristics of effective leaders.
- Articulate the concept of emotional intelligence.
- Assess personal level of self-awareness.
- Understand the distinction between transactional and transformational learning.
- Create a personal leadership vision and an organizational or team vision.
