Treasury Affordable Housing Program Panel

This session will provide insight on two of the Treasury Department’s most active affordable housing programs – Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). This session will provide an overview of the successes and pitfalls in the implementation of the ERA program, including the best practices that worked well across the country. LIHTC continues to be a part of the larger conversation coming out of tax reform. Hear about tax reform’s impact upon the housing credit and possible opportunities for the housing credit in legislation that will expand and strengthen the credit and how the credit can be used to support HUD programs like RAD, MTW and PBRA.
