US Economic/Multifamily Update

This session will provide an update on key drivers of US economic growth in the current environment as well as key drivers of the US Multifamily markets – indicators of rent growth, affordability, occupancy, supply, as well as demographics, labor market dynamics and regulatory influences. The discussion will then shift to looking at a new tool for local market analysis (Yardi Matrix) which has information unique and essential to the analysis of affordable housing production and preservation (pre-calculated Max Net Rents, situations where these are not being achieved, compliance and extended use expiration dates, multifamily inventory affordability <as a % of county AMI>).
