So what does an equitable community look like? Join us as we ponder this very question. NAHRO’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee invites you to participate in a hands-on visualization session that asks the participants what their vision of equity looks like. We all have our own opinion of what the ideal community looks like. Our session starts with an excellent panel discussion followed by small breakout groups. Each of the breakout groups will be given drawing paper, markers, and crayons, and will be asked to draw their vision of an equitable community. At the conclusion of the small groups’ drawing exercise, each breakout will be invited to present their vision to the larger group.
