NAHRO knows that youth are among the strongest catalysts for driving positive change in our communities. That’s why our training motto remains: “It begins with YOUth!”
In this session, participants will explore how NAHRO’s advocacy efforts and policy priorities may directly affect young people across the country. Participants will work with youth personas inspired by real-life challenges faced by young residents impacted by federal housing policy decisions on Capitol Hill.
Participants will also receive a brief walk-through of NAHRO’s current youth programs, along with space to brainstorm new, future-focused opportunities back at home.
As we unlock the “youth” within ourselves and take a walk in their shoes, we will examine how advocacy, policy, and leadership can empower young people to shape the future of their communities.
