HUD Announces FY25 CoC Program Awards for Quarter One

March 31, 2026 — Earlier today, HUD updated its website to announce the fiscal year 2025 (FY25) first quarter awards for the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program and a new notice for CoC registration.

FY 25 CoC Awards (Quarter One)

More than $349 million in funding for 622 projects has been awarded for quarter one. The funding spans across 43 states, Puerto Rico, and D.C.

This award announcement was delayed due to HUD’s efforts to make changes to the FY25 notice of funding opportunity (NOFO), which is currently being litigated in court. Due to the latest court proceedings, HUD will be issuing FY25 awards for quarters one and two of calendar year 2026. Further information will be provided for quarters three and four in the near future.

The award announcement can be found here

CoC Registration Notice

In its revision to the website, HUD also provides an updated notice titled “Continuum of Care Program Registration” (CPD-26-03).  The notice makes changes to the registration closing date to the second Thursday every April unless otherwise communicated by the HUD to CoCs.

According to HUD, the FY26 CoC Program Registration process will open on or around March 30, 2026, with a submission deadline of 5:00 PM ET on April 23rd, 2026

The notice can be found here

Other Changes to the Website

The website no longer features various FY25 NOFOs that were published by HUD with corresponding information. Instead, there is a section titled “I Want To Review,” where there are links to the most recent NOFOs, not including the FY25 NOFO that was published in December. There are also links for various FY25 project applications.
