Informational Webinar: 2026 Pan African City Symposium & Exposition

February 24, 2026 — Are you interested in a global networking opportunity focused on innovative solutions in the field of human settlements, affordable housing, and economic development? Please join the Chair of the U.S. Africa Collaborative Liz Glenn and NAHRO’s International Research and Global Exchange (IRGE) Committee on Wednesday, March 4 at 1:00 PM Eastern for an informational webinar on the 2026 Pan African City Symposium and Exposition.

Background: On June 22-29, 2026, NAHRO’s partner the U.S. Africa Collaborative will be hosting their annual conference in Eastern Cape, South Africa, titled “Pan African City Symposium and Exposition.” The event is meant to showcase innovative solutions in the field of human settlements, affordable housing, and economic development. It will include presentations by scholars and practitioners from around the world. Additionally, the Symposium will include various site visits of housing projects, cultural exchanges, an international design competition, and much more!

Symposium/Exposition Objectives: The 2026 Pan African Symposium & Exposition on the Pan African City seeks to exchange knowledge, create, and nurture partnerships for change, engage multiple disciplines in the housing and human settlement sectors; share innovations in housing and human settlement, community development; exchange ideas on building a robust circular economy; and explore opportunities for long-term future engagement throughout the African Diaspora.
