NHLP Releases Flyer for HUD-Assisted Residents During Government Shutdown
October 1, 2025 — As we enter the first government shutdown since 2018, the National Housing Law Project (NHLP) has released a flyer to help residents of HUD rental assistance programs understand what this means for them.
The flyer outlines key information for residents in:
- The Housing Choice Voucher Program
- Public Housing
- Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA)
- USDA Rural Housing Programs
It provides clear, practical guidance on what residents should know during the shutdown and steps they can take if issues arise.
