Strategies to Prevent and Reduce Homelessness

Over the last few decades homelessness has risen at record-breaking numbers. Communities nationwide have struggled with rising costs and a lack of affordable housing supply that has made it difficult for many families to stay afloat financially. With increases in homelessness each year and a growing need for more funding, this session will address strategies to prevent and reduce homelessness in an ever-evolving political climate. The panel brings together experts from D.C. and around the country to provide updates on how CoCs and PHAs are working together to reduce homelessness and advocate for common sense solutions.
