About the NAHRO LEAD Program

The NAHRO LEAD Program is designed for new (and newer) housing and community development leaders, as well as aspiring leaders, who are ready to build the skills and confidence needed to lead effectively. Participants will strengthen their abilities in supervising employees, managing teams, coaching, setting goals, achieving outcomes, evaluating performance, and developing and leveraging employee strengths and talents.

Through a dynamic six-part learning journey, participants will engage in two in-person sessions held in conjunction with the NAHRO National Conference and the annual NAHRO Washington Conference, along with four interactive virtual sessions. Between sessions, participants will complete a few hours of practical assignments designed to reinforce learning and immediately apply new concepts, skills, and tools in the workplace.
