HCV and PH Certification Change Request

As of September 1, 2025, NAHRO’s Public Housing (PH) and Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Certifications have been streamlined with new names! They are now the Certified Specialist of Public Housing (CSPH) and Certified Specialist of Housing Choice Vouchers (CSHCV), respectively. If you would like to merge your current PH and/or HCV certifications to the new NAHRO Certifications, please read and fill out the form below.

If you are a current holder of the CSEC-PH and CSO-PH — or only have one of them but also meet all of the requirements for the CSPH — you can fill out this form to shift your current certification(s) to the CSPH.

If you are a current holder of the CSEC-HCV and CSO-HCV — or only have one of them but also meet all of the requirements for the CSHCV — you can fill out this form to shift your current certification(s) to the CSHCV.

Please note: the issue and expiration dates for your merged certification will remain the same as your previous certifications.

Please email professionaldevelopment@nahro.org with any questions regarding this form. Once submitted, your request will be processed by NAHRO staff in approximately four weeks.
