2024 What Home Means to Me Calendars Now Available for Purchase!

December 22, 2023

It’s the happiest time of the year: the 2024 What Home Means to Me Calendar is now available for purchase!

Since 2008, the What Home Means to Me Poster Contest has recognized the amazing, poignant art of children who live in affordable housing across the country. Every year, NAHRO’s Housing America Advisory Committee collaborates with NAHRO’s state chapters and regions to hold a poster contest for children age 5-18 living in housing owned or administered by NAHRO member agencies. The challenge: craft inspiring posters that express the theme of “What Home Means to Me.”

The 2023 Poster Contest Grand Prize winner is Braxton, age 17 from the Bristol Development and Housing Authority (Virginia). Her poster is featured on the 2024 calendar cover, pictured below.

The 12 national honorees, living across the country and ranging in age, are featured each month.

Anyone can order a calendar online — just $10 — and support NAHRO’s vital work. Calendars will be available for a limited time only, so don’t wait!

Calendar orders ship via FedEx and UPS. A physical shipping address is required, as neither carrier delivers to P.O. Boxes. Delivery timeframes may be impacted by holiday congestion.

Note: One calendar is automatically sent to all NAHRO member agencies as a member benefit.
