2024 HCV Administrative Fee Rates Published

On May 30, HUD’s Financial Management Division sent an email to PHA Executive Directors noting that the calendar year (CY) 2024 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) administrative fee rates have been publicly posted.

Administrative fees are based on units leased by the first of the month. There are two administrative fee rates. The Column A rate applies to the first 7,200 unit months leased. The Column B rate applies to the remaining unit months leased.

The administrative fee rates and proration apply to Mainstream vouchers also. In contrast, Emergency Housing Voucher administrative fees are funded at the Column A rate and will not be prorated this year, but may be prorated in future years.
