2025 FSS Annual Report Survey Due by June 13

June 10, 2025 — According to HUD, every PHA and PBRA owner operating a Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program must complete the Annual Report Survey by June 13, 2025.
The survey requests information from PHAs and PBRA owners on how they ran their FSS program in calendar year 2024. It is meant to understand how FSS programs around the country are being implemented, highlight best practices, and identify areas for improvement.
The survey does not request any quantitative data reported on the 50058 form or Multifamily Annual Report. According to HUD, it must be completed whether or not you receive HUD funding for your program.
For organizations proposing to transition to a combined FSS program, the Lead Grantee/Program may submit just one survey for the group. For Multifamily FSS programs, a one-time exception will be allowed for Lead Operators of Joint Programs (2 or more HUD Contracts) to submit just one survey encompassing all local properties under the Lead Grantee/Program.
The survey is expected to take about an hour or less.
